China day 3rd of July in Almedalen.
Welcome to Almedalen's China Day!
Together with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, we invite you to a day filled with interesting activites on Swedish-Chinese relations and business.
We focus on Swedish-Chinese relations in trade, innovation and entrepreneurship. The official opening ceremony starts at 10: 00 with a speech by H.E ambassador Gui Congyou.
Then a paneldiscussion followed by a question time will be held where the Ambassador and panel members receives questions from the audience.
After the opening ceremony and panel discussions we will open the doors for our open house where the partner companies from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce will showcase the latest technology and innovation from China.

Swedish-Chinese relations in the heart of Almedalen 2019
The Swedish-Chinese relations go back a long time. Since the Swedish East Indiaman Götheborg left the Gothenburg harbor in 1739 for the maiden voyage to China the relations between Sweden and China has since been filled with partnerships and strategic alliances. Next year - 2020 - Sweden and China celebrate 70 year anniversary of diplomatic relations. This means that Sweden has a very special relation to China and therefore we are hosting the grand event - China Day - in the midst the political and commercial epicenter of Almedalen 2019.
Welcome to Strandvägen 4.2 outside the Wisby Strand congress center. On the opposite side of the famous "Kallis" cold bath and bar.
